NOTES FROM PLAYING COMMITTEE

TUESDAY 15^TH FEBRUARY 2011

PRESENT: JILL, RICHARD, HILARY, JEAN, DAVID, GRAHAM, PETER.

DATES:

4^th March - Regional Quiz  Twyford  SO21 1QG

6^th March - Sunday morning 11am club practice to start the season as not confirmed yet when rugby club will re-open on Tuesday night,  TBA  - Jill to advise.

High Level Roofing Company 6 a side competition over 2 weeks commencing 14^th March. Final on 27^th March. 2 teams have been entered.

2^nd May  Bernay Cup. David & Jill to run, Richard away.

12^th June Southampton City Open

31^st July Ron Luxton Trophy - Drawn Doubles.

11^th September SCPC hosting Regional Triples

30^th October SCPC hosting 9 A Side Salver.  Maximum 10 teams Richard to notify region of limit

Club Singles/Doubles Draw. Members to advise Jill of playing partners for doubles and if want to be in singles.  Draw on 6^th March if possible. Jill to issue rules.

Saints V Pilgrims TBA when league fixture list known.

Club Melees - TBA when league fixture list known.

Six a Side Squads

Pilgrims: Jean, Paul D, Hilary, Gianni, Richard P, Bernie, Jackie, Andy, Tim, Paul G, Bill, Mavis.

Saints: Graham, Peter, David, Wayne, Wendy, Sam, Kaylee, Aaron, Jill, Robin, Ron, Richard T

If any new members join the team allocation to be discussed by playing committee.

Full committee meeting to be arranged.
