Competitions 2011

SCPC Open (Last Update 14/08/2011)

This year's Open Triples competition took place at Lord's Hill Outdoor Recreation Ground on Sunday 12th June, starting at 10.00a.m.

The weather was appalling, but 14 teams turned out and battled with the elements as much as each other! The Cobbetts team of Dave Stubbs, Steve Lombard and Richard Greeve beat our very own Hilary, Gianni and Tim in the Final. Peter, Robin and Trenty lost in the Plate final, perhaps distracted by trying to stop the tent blowing away and rescuing the prizes from Trenty's car!

Congratulations to everyone who played and to everyone who helped to make sure that the competition started and finished, particularly Jill, who had to endure the dire conditions to run it all day!
